Regional Science Center organized the National Technology Day celebration in Bhopal.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: With the aim of raising awareness about the impact and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our daily lives, the Regional Science Center, Bhopal, in collaboration with the Department of Data Science and Engineering, IISER, Bhopal, organized a series of programs on AI – Artificial Intelligence on the occasion of National Technology Day.

The program commenced with an inaugural speech on the topic “Significance of National Technology Day” by Umesh Kumar, Director of Nehru Science Center, Mumbai. Following this, another inaugural lecture on “A.I. for Developed India” was conducted by Dr. Tanmay Basu, Head of the Department of Data Science and Engineering at IISER, Bhopal. As part of the program, a technology demonstration program on ‘Artificial Intelligence for Society’ was organized under the guidance of Vinod Kurmi from the IISER team, followed by an interactive session on ‘The Role of Artificial Intelligence behind ChatGPT’ by Assistant Professor Jashbanta Patro from the Department of Data Science and Engineering, IISER Bhopal. The program concluded with a hands-on workshop on Artificial Intelligence.

A total of 42 students from various schools participated in this workshop. Approximately 300 students participated in all the lectures organized during the program.
