CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the National Food Security Act, there is a provision for registering complaints with the District Grievance Redressal Officer (DGRO) as part of the external grievance redressal mechanism. As per the provision, citizens can lodge complaints with the DGRO by calling the CM Helpline 181 or online. Citizens can register four types of complaints related to the DGRO through the CM Helpline 181.

The District Supply Controller stated that complaints can be registered with the DGRO for issues such as not receiving ration due to the non-receipt of eligibility slips and other related matters, not receiving ration from fair price shops, non-receipt of mid-day meals in schools, and non-receipt of food grains at Anganwadi centers.
