In his presidential address, Dr. Ramakant Pandey emphasized that Lord Mahavira’s principles are eternally relevant. The life values established by Mahavira offer a balanced path to live a successful and meaningful life. He spoke about how Mahavira’s philosophy teaches respect for every element and being in the universe created by God, promoting inclusivity and collective growth.

Dr. Phoolchand Jain stated that the five vows of non-violence (Ahimsa), truth (Satya), non-stealing (Asteya), celibacy (Brahmacharya), and non-possession (Aparigraha) form the fundamental basis of human life.

Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Jain highlighted the contemporary need for Ahimsa and Aparigraha, while Dr. Shreyansh Singhai stressed the importance of extensive research and analysis on ancient Jain philosophical texts.

The seminar included two research paper presentation sessions, during which 54 participants presented their papers. The seminar was coordinated by Dr. Yogesh Kumar Jain, who noted that Mahavira’s teachings are universally useful, but in today’s context, they are especially crucial for character building. He emphasized that true devotion lies not only in rituals but in practicing Mahavira’s principles in real life. The seminar aimed to raise awareness among students about the timeless relevance of these teachings.

On this occasion, poster-making and slogan-writing competitions based on Mahavira’s principles were also organized for the students of the campus.
