CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, organized various activities under the theme “Golden India – Heritage and Development.” The institute’s Director, K. Ravichandran, hoisted the national flag, expressing his deep respect and dedication to the nation. In his address, Director Ravichandran stated, “The Indian Institute of Forest Management is actively contributing to nation-building in the fields of environment, forestry, climate change, and sustainable development. IIFM is progressing towards the nation’s goal of ‘Developed India 2047.'”
The event showcased the cultural diversity of the nation and the institute through vibrant performances by students, including dances, songs, poetry recitals, and theatrical presentations. A theatrical performance on the “Constitution” highlighted critical social issues, emphasizing the Constitution’s importance and its fundamental role in addressing such concerns.
Additionally, the IIFM Sports Club, “Samarthya,” organized energetic sports activities, featuring a cricket match for male participants and an exciting throwball match between the senior and junior batches of female students.
Aligned with the joyous spirit of Republic Day, the winners of these competitions were honored with a unique “Republic Day Cup 2025.” The celebrations also included a blood donation camp, where students contributed by donating blood, adding a meaningful touch to the event.
