Honorable Retirement Ceremony Held for 26 Employees in Bhopal Division

A special retirement ceremony was organized in the Bhopal Division of Western Central Railway to honor a total of 26 officers and employees retiring in March 2026. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Bhopal, Mr. Pankaj Tyagi, distributed Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) to the retiring employees and, while appreciating their long-term contributions, wished them a bright future.

The ceremony was attended by the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Assistant Personnel Officer (Welfare), Assistant Divisional Finance Manager, and representatives of the employee unions. On this occasion, a total of 26 retiring employees received retirement-related dues amounting to approximately ₹11,56,55,116 (Eleven crore fifty-six lakh fifty-five thousand one hundred sixteen rupees).

During the program, the Welfare Inspector recorded the significant work experience of 19 retirees on the Experience Portal. This initiative will allow their expertise to be utilized as organizational knowledge in the future. This effort not only honored the employees but also provided an opportunity to retain their expertise and experience in the service of the organization.

Representatives from State Bank of India (SBI) and Punjab National Bank (PNB) provided the attending retirees with detailed information about pension schemes, various benefits, and related facilities. They also offered clear guidance on the pension process, options, and ways to plan financially for the future.

Thus, the ceremony not only served as a platform to honor the contributions of retiring employees but also connected them to financial and social security. All officials and employees present at the event described the occasion as successful and inspiring.
