CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Tyagi conducted an intensive safety inspection of the Guna-Shivpuri and Guna-Bina rail sections. During the window trailing inspection of the Guna-Shivpuri section, he carried out a detailed review of the rail infrastructure, track condition, signaling system, level crossing gates and other safety arrangements.
At Guna station, DRM Tyagi inspected the construction and redevelopment works being carried out under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Reviewing the progress of the works, he directed officials to ensure that all projects are completed with quality and within the stipulated timeframe so that passenger facilities are made modern and more accessible.
During the visit, he also inspected the loco pilot and guard lobby at Guna. The inspection covered facilities available for running staff, rest arrangements, counseling arrangements and compliance with safety-related instructions. He directed the running staff to remain vigilant for safe and secure rail operations.

As part of the inspection, the DRM also visited Level Crossing Gate No. 28 located between Badarwas and Kolaras and checked the safety arrangements available there. He interacted with the gateman and instructed him to remain alert during duty and strictly follow safety standards. He also rewarded the gateman for excellent performance.
At Shivpuri station, he reviewed passenger amenities including the platform, waiting hall, toilets, drinking water arrangements and cleanliness. He also assessed the progress of development works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and issued necessary directions to the concerned officials. In addition, DRM Tyagi inspected Ashoknagar railway station. During the inspection, the station premises, passenger amenities, safety arrangements and operational systems were reviewed. He instructed officials to ensure better passenger facilities while giving special attention to safety and security standards.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Rohit Malviya, the Senior Divisional Engineer and officers and supervisors of the concerned departments were present during the inspection.
