CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A meeting of the Department of Technical Education was held in the conference room at the Ministry, where various departmental matters were reviewed. A detailed discussion took place regarding the establishment of MPIT (Madhya Pradesh Institute of Technology) on the lines of IITs, and necessary directives were issued.
Instructions were also given to ensure that government-aided institutions conduct audits on time.
The meeting also included in-depth discussions on the development of coding labs, centers of excellence, digital university initiatives, and collaboration with the National Defence University.
Matters related to recruitment, filling of posts, and promotions were also discussed, and necessary guidelines were issued.
An update on admissions in polytechnic and engineering colleges was also reviewed.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary of Technical Education, Vivek Porwal, Commissioner Avdhesh Sharma, and other senior officials of the department.
