CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Addressing a review meeting of Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company (MPUDC), an undertaking of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Additional Managing Director Divyank Singh directed project managers and contractors to ensure that all water supply and sewerage schemes are implemented within the निर्धारित timeline and with high technical quality. He said the management unit, implementation unit, local bodies and contractors should work in coordination so that practical difficulties arising at the ground level can be resolved quickly and effectively. Keeping the rainy season in view, Singh issued strict instructions to contractors to mandatorily complete the remaining road restoration works on priority before the monsoon. He also directed that water supply bills be distributed to consumers on time and that the process of linking Water ID with Property ID be expedited so that revenue management can be strengthened.
At the meeting held at Sundarlal Patwa Nagar Management Institute in Bhauri, a detailed and project-wise review of a total of 134 ambitious completed and ongoing projects was carried out. The Additional Managing Director underlined that senior management should be informed in time about any technical or administrative problems arising in project implementation so that there is no delay in their quick resolution. He also advised project managers to study contract conditions thoroughly and carefully so that no deadlock arises at the contractual level. Detailed discussions were also held on matters related to pending permissions and no-objection certificates from various external departments such as MPRDC, NHAI, Water Resources and MPRDA, so that the pace of development works remains uninterrupted.
In the technical session of the review meeting, a comprehensive presentation on the physical and financial progress of the projects was made by Chief Engineer Anand Singh and Chief Engineer Shailendra Shukla, highlighting the updated status of each project and the future action plan. The meeting was coordinated by Deputy Project Director (Administration) Rajiv Ranjan Pandey. Project managers and assistant project managers from all 10 regional units of MPUDC, along with the concerned contractors and subject experts and technical representatives of project consultancy firms, were present at the meeting.
