CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has released revised entry fees for tourists at Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal. These rates are now effective.
The park director explained the revised fees as follows:
Walking Tour: ₹25 per person
Own Bicycle: ₹30
Park’s Bicycle: ₹40
Two-Wheeler (max 2 people): ₹80
Auto Rickshaw (driver included, max 4 people): ₹120
Light Four-Wheeler (max 5 people): ₹300
Light Four-Wheeler (more than 5 people): ₹500
Mini Bus (max 20 people): ₹1,100
Bus (more than 20 people): ₹2,200
Golf Cart Ride (additional to entry fee): ₹60 per person
Children (5-12 years): ₹40
Children (under 5 years): Free
Entire Golf Cart (max 6 people): ₹400
Safari Tour (Park-Provided Vehicle, per trip):
Adult: ₹100
Children (5-12 years): ₹30
Children (under 5 years): Free
Full Vehicle (max 6 people): ₹1,000
Evening Safari (Post-Sunset, Park-Provided Vehicle, per trip):
Adult: ₹300
Children (5-12 years): ₹150
Children (under 5 years): Free
Full Vehicle (max 6 people): ₹1,500
For electric vehicles, 75% of the standard fees will apply. The fees will increase by 10% every three years, rounded to the nearest 5. Rates for foreign tourists will be double.
