CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The students went on a historical visit where they toured various heritage sites of Delhi and observed the Parliament House. The visit was organized under the leadership and guidance of Prof. Mukesh Kumar Sahu (Dean and Director, LNCT University).
During the visit, students explored the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre and Memorial, where they learned in detail about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s life journey and his pivotal role in the making of the Indian Constitution. They met Aakash Patil (Director, Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi), who shared insights about Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to constitutional development. A memento was presented to him as a token of appreciation.
At the Parliament House, students visited both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha chambers. Rohit (Protocol Officer and Guide) provided an in-depth explanation of the structure and functioning of both Houses and guided the students to the original Constituent Assembly Hall, where the Constitution of India was drafted.
During the visit, the students also met Bretin Sen Gupta (Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha) and later toured the Parliament Library, where Vandana Chauhan (Joint Director, Parliament Library) briefed them on the original Constitution and the library’s extensive collection.
- K. Malik (Director, Lok Sabha Secretariat) held an interactive discussion with the students, explaining in detail the procedures and working of the Indian Parliament. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Sahu presented a memento to P. K. Malik as a gesture of gratitude.
The successful organization of this educational visit was supported by Dr. Richa Singh, Rohit Sharma, and Durgendra Singh Rajput. On this occasion, Dr. Anupam Chouksey (Secretary, LNCT Group), Dharmendra Gupta (Executive Director), the Vice-Chancellor, and the Registrar extended their congratulations to the team for the successful completion of the program.
