CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Republic Day celebration at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) was marked with great enthusiasm. The Vice-Chancellor, Rajeev Tripathi, hoisted the national flag during the event. The ceremony was attended by the university’s Registrar Mohan Sen, UIT Director Prof. Sudhir Singh Bhadoriya, along with faculty members, officers, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, and staff.
After the flag hoisting, Vice-Chancellor Rajeev Tripathi addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the Constitution of India embraces the nation’s diversity and protects the rights of every citizen. He paid tribute to the martyrs and the members of the Constituent Assembly, urging everyone to understand the Constitution’s meaning, essence, and principles deeply.
Prof. Tripathi highlighted that the university also has its own Constitution, and every individual has a responsibility towards it. He stressed that educators are the builders of the younger generation, who will lead the nation forward. He encouraged everyone to remain honest, fulfill their responsibilities, and contribute to making society stronger and better educated.
On this occasion, the NCC unit of UIT RGPV presented a march, and patriotic songs were performed by students and faculty. The program was anchored by Aseem Tiwari.
