CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The concluding ceremony of the “Srijan” program was held at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), located in Bhopal. On this occasion, Minister of Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH, Inder Singh Parmar, was present as the chief guest. He stated that the objective of the Srijan program is to encourage students’ creative thinking so they can innovate to solve societal problems.
Minister Parmar mentioned that students of the state are actively participating in startups and innovations. This initiative by the state government is helping them by providing a platform, guidance, technical and financial support, and assisting in documenting their innovations. He announced that the Srijan program will be organized annually to continuously offer students the opportunity to showcase their innovative talents.
Prior to the closing ceremony, Minister Parmar visited the exhibition based on innovative projects under “Srijan.” Out of 1600 entries, 150 selected projects were showcased in the exhibition. Extending best wishes to all participants and winners, the minister affirmed that even projects which were not awarded would be supported by RGPV in the documentation process.
On the occasion of National Technology Day, Mr. Parmar remembered the country’s scientific achievements and said that the determination of young students will help realize the vision of a developed India by 2047. He also emphasized the need to document India’s traditional knowledge to present it on global platforms.
