The 15th edition of Rhythm 2K25, the much-awaited annual cultural fest of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, concluded with great enthusiasm this year under the theme “Retro Revival.” The university campus was immersed in the charm, music, and memories of the bygone era.
A grand and joyous cultural evening marked the culmination of the event, graced by distinguished guests including Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice Chancellor Dr. R.P. Dubey, and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, among others.
The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a welcome address. This was followed by the release of the annual NCC report. The stage came alive with a vibrant sequence of cultural performances, including solo and group dances and theatrical acts. Students from the Law Department, TNSD, Humanities, and the Cultural Club showcased their impressive talents.
The highlight of the evening was the “Retro Revival Ramp Walk”, where students recreated the fashion, films, and music of the 70s and 80s. From the black-and-white era to the disco age, participants walked the ramp with flair, mesmerizing the audience with their expressions, style, and dialogue delivery.
Based on their outstanding performances, the titles of “King RNTU” and “Queen RNTU” were awarded. At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented to students from NCC, NSS, Radio Yuvaaz, and the Student Activity Council for their dedicated contributions.
Rhythm 2K25 not only provided a platform for student creativity but also infused new energy into the university’s cultural spirit.
