CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: State Congress Committee spokesperson Abhinav Barolia, in a retort to the ridiculous statement made by BJP State President V.D. Sharma regarding employment, said that V.D. Sharma himself is unaware of how many jobs the BJP government has provided in the state and how many people are unemployed.

Barolia stated that V.D. Sharma’s claim of providing 6–7 lakh jobs in the last seven years is baseless, suggesting that he is either not well-versed with the figures or is misleading the youth of the state with statistical manipulation. Barolia emphasized that even in the last 20 years of the BJP government, this many jobs were not provided to the youth. He urged V.D. Sharma to refrain from making such factless and misleading statements.

The state has over 4 million registered unemployed individuals who are struggling to find jobs. Advertisements for recruitment exams are issued, but they are marred by scandals and paper leaks, playing with the hopes of the youth. Barolia pointed out that there is significant anger among the youth regarding employment. He suggested that V.D. Sharma should urge the head of their government, Dr. Mohan Yadav, and the departmental ministers to create jobs for the youth and conduct transparent recruitments. Otherwise, the anger of the youth will weigh heavily on the BJP government.
