CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Four students from the Faculty of Agriculture at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) have secured jobs through campus placement. ICICI Bank conducted an online campus recruitment drive at the university, in which the four selected students were appointed in the bank’s Farmer Finance department. All four have been selected for the post of Assistant Manager (Band-I). Vice-Chancellor Professor R.P. Dubey and Registrar Dr. Sangeeta Jauhari congratulated the selected students on the achievement.
ICICI Bank had organised the online recruitment drive for BSc and MSc Agriculture students of the 2026 batch. A total of 15 students registered for the recruitment process. The selection process included online registration, an aptitude test and an interview. After successfully completing all stages, four BSc Agriculture students were selected.
The selected students are Gaurav Kumar, Roshan Kumar, Hariom Sharma and Prince Kumar. They have been appointed in the bank’s Farmer Finance department on an annual package of Rs 4.22 lakh (CTC).
The university administration, Faculty of Agriculture and Career Development Cell congratulated the selected students and extended best wishes for their future. Registrar Dr. Sangeeta Jauhari, while congratulating them, said the achievement was an excellent outcome of the students’ hard work, the guidance of the faculty and the university’s industry-oriented teaching. She said RNTU is continuously working to provide students with quality education as well as employment-oriented opportunities. She expressed confidence that the selected students would bring pride to the institution and the country through their knowledge, skills and dedication to work.
She said students at the university are prepared for employment through regular campus placement drives, skill development training and career guidance programmes. Several reputed national and multinational companies conduct placement drives on the university campus every year, in which a large number of students are selected. The university’s objective is not only to award degrees, but also to develop students into successful, self-reliant and skilled professionals aligned with the needs of industry.
