CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) has added another significant achievement in the field of higher education. At the Education Conclave 2026 organised by the reputed news magazine The Week, the university secured fourth position in the western region in the non-government (private and deemed) multidisciplinary universities category. It also secured first position in Madhya Pradesh. The honour was received by university Vice Chancellor Prof. Ravi Prakash Dubey at Le Meridien Hotel in New Delhi. The university management credited the honour to the collective efforts of teachers, students and all employees.
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ravi Prakash Dubey expressed happiness and said that securing fourth position among non-government multidisciplinary universities in the western region was the result of the hard work of the teachers, students and the entire university family. He said the university’s effort is to provide students with quality education, better research and employment-oriented skills. This achievement, he said, will inspire the university to work even better in the future. He added that the university will continue to make sustained efforts to maintain excellence in the field of education.
University Registrar Dr. Sangeeta Jauhari said the honour received at the national level is proof of the university’s academic excellence, quality education and continuous efforts towards innovation. She said the university is working to make students capable of meeting global challenges. It is continuously strengthening modern teaching methods, research culture and skill development among students. She said the goal for the coming period is to further strengthen advanced teaching systems and research. The university is making continuous efforts to establish itself among the country’s leading higher education institutions, she added.
The achievement has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the professors, officers, employees and students of Rabindranath Tagore University. All described it as a moment of pride and said the honour was the result of the collective efforts of the entire university family. They expressed confidence that RNTU will achieve new milestones in quality education, research, innovation and skill development in the coming time and build a strong national identity.
