CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The seven-day Military and Adventure Training Camp organized by the NCC of Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) was successfully concluded at Kerwa Dam. A total of 55 cadets and students participated in this special camp, receiving extensive training in physical fitness, military discipline, and adventurous activities.
During this seven-day rigorous training program, participants were given detailed instruction in physical fitness, basic military training, discipline, leadership skills, parade training, weapon handling, and group tasks. In the final phase of the camp, the adventure training further enhanced the students’ enthusiasm and energy. Participants actively engaged in thrilling activities such as trekking, climbing, rappelling, monkey crawling, and archery.
The entire training was conducted under the guidance of Sub Lieutenant Manoj Singh Manral, NCC Officer at RNTU, who helped the participants understand the fundamentals of military life and the importance of teamwork. Despite strict discipline and demanding exercises, the students completed all activities with full energy and dedication.
On the successful conclusion of the program, Pro-Chancellor Aditi Vats, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ravi Prakash Dubey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, and Registrar Dr. Sangita Johri appreciated all participants, praising their indomitable enthusiasm, discipline, and determination. They stated that such training programs strengthen students’ confidence, leadership skills, and sense of patriotism.
This Military and Adventure Training Camp not only enhanced the physical strength of the students but also instilled in them national awareness and team spirit. The efforts of RNTU NCC further underscore the importance of military training within the university.
