CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Science Communication Centre of Rabindranath Tagore University organized a successful science awareness program at Eklavya Model Residential School under the project “Science Awareness Program in Tribal Schools of Madhya Pradesh.” The project was sponsored by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology with the objective of developing a scientific temperament among students.

During the program, astronomical observations were conducted using a telescope, through which students observed the Moon, Jupiter, and its four major moons. They were also informed about constellations such as Mriga Nakshatra, Gemini, and Taurus. This experience proved to be highly engaging and informative for the students.

To enhance interest in science, various experimental activities were organized. In the science demonstration lecture, live experiments were presented on topics such as dry ice, center of mass, gravity, and Faraday’s laws. Students enthusiastically observed these experiments and understood the scientific principles behind them.

The successful organization of the program was made possible with the significant contributions of Anil Tiwari, Bhupendra Singh, and Shubham Rajput. The school Principal, Amrit Raj Jhariya, along with teachers Ved Prakash Pandey, Pooja Sharma, Bhavana Pabnani, Ajay Pal, Ravina Singh, Samriddhi Bhardwaj, Vinod Kumar, Rohit Chaudhary, and Vinay Shakya, and the entire staff, provided active support.

The program proved to be highly inspiring for the students, fostering curiosity and understanding towards science. Such initiatives not only make education more engaging but also strengthen a scientific outlook for the future.
