CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Bhopal, and Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), Bhopal, both operating under the AISECT Group of Universities, jointly organised the grand Placement Day 2026 at Radisson Hotel, Gulmohar, Bhopal. On the occasion, more than 650 selected students from the two universities were honoured with appointment letters and certificates received from reputed companies across the country.

The academic session 2025-26 was highly successful for both universities in the area of placements. During this period, more than 130 national and international companies participated in the campus recruitment process, resulting in the selection of over 650 students in leading companies across various sectors. The achievement reflects the universities’ industry-oriented education, skill development-based training and strong industry-academia collaboration.

Among those present as chief guests were Rabindranath Tagore University Chancellor Santosh Choubey, Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice-Chancellor Ravi Prakash Dubey, Scope Global Skills University Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, and Abhay Arun Mahishi, Regional Director, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

On the occasion, Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats said, "This success of our students is the result of their hard work, commitment, and the quality education and industry-oriented training provided by the university. Our objective is not only to award degrees, but to prepare capable and confident youth who can face the challenges of the changing global economy and perform excellently in their respective fields."

In his address, Santosh Choubey highlighted the importance of skill development and said that in today’s competitive era, academic knowledge alone is not enough. Skills aligned with industry expectations, an innovative mindset and practical experience open new dimensions of success for young people. He said the AISECT Group has been continuously working for the past four decades to make youth self-reliant through education and skill development.

Key speaker Abhay Arun Mahishi stressed the need for continuous learning in career development and said that at present, skilling, upskilling and reskilling are the keys to professional success. He urged students to adopt new technologies, innovate and continue learning throughout life.

Scope Global Skills University Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh said, "Placement Day is not only an occasion to receive appointment letters, but a celebration of students’ dreams coming true. Providing skill-based education in line with the needs of industry has remained our priority, and that is why our students are receiving excellent opportunities in different sectors today. In the coming years too, we will further strengthen this bridge between industry and education."

Several distinguished experts and human resource professionals from the industry also participated in the programme. Prominent among them were Rajiv Agrawal, Executive Director of Network In Action; Sheetal Verma, Director of Corporate Steps; Pradeep Karambelkar, Executive Director of BNI; Navneet Vyas, President of Bagroda Industry Association; Leonard Jesuraj, independent consultant of V Group; HR experts Riya Talreja and Naveen Thakur; Pooja Jain from Vardhman Group; Amit Das from CareSoft; Abhishek Thapa from Netlink; Jack Jackson from Corporate Steps; Deepnarayan Mishra from Action for Social Advancement; Drishti Jain from Anav Webtech; and Ayushi Malviya from Next Topper.

Students, parents, teachers, representatives of the industry and officials from various companies participated in the event enthusiastically. Several selected students shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for the guidance, training and placement support provided by the universities.

At the end of the programme, Rabindranath Tagore University Registrar Sangeeta Jauhari proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to all guests, industry representatives and participants.
