CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Representing India at the FISU World University Championship Shooting 2024, RNTU shooters Vanshika Tiwari (BA second year) and Mansi Raghuvanshi (BPES second year) secured a bronze medal in the shotgun skeet team event. This year’s World University Championship Shooting was held in New Delhi, India.

It is notable that India hosted the historic FISU World University Championship Shooting 2024 for the first time. The event was organized under the auspices of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and featured over 200 athletes from 23 countries, including 8 Olympians such as Pribatsky Jiri from the Czech Republic, Shevval Layda Tarhan from Turkey, and Nobata Misaki from Japan.

Vanshika and Mansi credited their success to their parents, academy, and university, expressing, “A step towards our dreams has been fulfilled today, and now we look forward to our next goal, which we will achieve with the support of our academy, university, and the blessings of our parents.”

RNTU’s Chancellor Santosh Choubey, SGSU’s Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Registrar Vijay Singh, and Raisen District Sports Officer Jalaj Chaturvedi extended congratulations to the shooters, wishing them a bright future as they brought honor to RNTU on a global stage.
