CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of NCC Officer Sub Lieutenant Manoj Manral, the Madhya Pradesh–Chhattisgarh Directorate achieved outstanding performance at the All India Naval Camp-2025, securing the second overall position among directorates from across the country. At the same camp, RNTU NCC cadet Risham showcased exceptional talent by winning the gold medal in the Health and Hygiene event, bringing pride to the university and the state.
Throughout the camp, the Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Directorate performed remarkably, winning a total of 8 gold, 1 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Additionally, the team secured the winner’s trophy in ship modeling, adding another golden chapter to their achievements.

The Naval Camp is the most prestigious NCC Naval Wing camp. In this 12-day camp, over 600 naval cadets from 17 directorates participate. Cadets compete in nine different events, including boat pulling, drill, firing, semaphore, health and hygiene, service subject, ship modeling, boat rigging, and seamanship.
Under the leadership of Sub Lieutenant Manoj Manral, the Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Directorate previously achieved the overall fifth position in 2022 with first place in boat pulling, third overall in 2024 with first in boat pulling, and this year, the second overall position along with first place in ship modeling.

The returning cadets were given a grand welcome at Jabalpur Railway Station. Brigadier Ashish Rikhe, Group Commander of the Bhopal Group, honored the cadets and Sub Lieutenant Manoj Manral with medals and certificates. On this occasion, the university’s Pro-Chancellor Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Vice-Chancellor Ravi Prakash Dubey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, and Registrar Sangita Johri expressed their delight and congratulated the team, extending best wishes for future achievements.
