CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of the Madhya Pradesh Premier League (Scindia Cup) 2026, selection trials for the ISECT Group’s men’s cricket team, Royal Nimad Eagles, were held at the Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) campus in Bhopal in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Registrations for the trials were received both online and offline, with over 200 players from various districts of the state participating to showcase their talent. Players from Bhopal, Sehore, Vidisha, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Hoshangabad, and Kalapipal, among other regions, demonstrated their skills in batting, bowling, fielding, and wicketkeeping.

The selection committee evaluated players based on technical proficiency, fitness, understanding of the game, and competitive ability. The players’ performances impressed the selectors and highlighted the wide potential of cricket talent in the state.

The event was graced by Shanti Jain, Secretary of BDCA, as the Chief Guest, while Hameedullah Khan, observer of the Madhya Pradesh League, also reviewed the trial process. On this occasion, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of ISECT University, Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, and Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha of SGSU were also present.

The guests encouraged the players, emphasizing that such trials provide an excellent platform for young players to display their talent. They noted that these events help identify regional talent and give them opportunities to advance in their cricketing careers.

It is noteworthy that the ISECT Group has initiated a new approach to sports development this year through team ownership. The objective of Royal Nimad Eagles is to identify emerging cricket talent in the state and provide professional training, giving them opportunities to reach national-level competitions.
