CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Selection trials for the men’s cricket team Royal Nimar Eagles, owned by the AISECT Group, were organized at the ground of Awadhesh Pratap Singh University as part of the Madhya Pradesh Premier League.

More than 200 players from the Rewa Division and Shahdol Division participated in the trials, showcasing their skills in batting, bowling, fielding, and wicketkeeping. The selection committee conducted a detailed assessment of the players, focusing on key aspects such as technical ability, fitness, game awareness, and competitive spirit. The enthusiasm and discipline of the players filled the event with energy and strong competition.

Shakeel Khan was specially present at the event as the MPL observer. As the chief guest, Divisional Sports Officer of Rewa Division M. K. Dholpuri encouraged the players and said that such trials provide an important platform for young athletes to showcase their talent.

On this occasion, Ram Bhushan Mishra, Vijay Vajpeyi, and Rakesh Tripathi were also present. All the guests described this initiative as an important step toward promoting regional cricket talent.

It is noteworthy that the AISECT Group has launched a new initiative this year to promote sports development by owning a team. Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that these trials are not merely a selection process but the beginning of long-term player development. The objective of the Royal Nimar Eagles is to provide emerging talents from different regions of the state with professional training, guidance, and competitive opportunities.
