The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the application process for 3,548 posts under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level Recruitment 2026. Online applications for this recruitment began on October 8, and candidates can apply until November 6, 2026. The recruitment notification number is CEN 06/2026.
The recruitment includes posts such as Goods Train Manager, Station Master, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist. Of the total 3,548 posts, the highest number, 2,750, is for Goods Train Manager. Candidates must meet the educational qualification, age limit and other eligibility conditions as prescribed for each post.
According to media reports, an important change has been indicated regarding the typing test. The computer-based typing skill test for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist is reported to have been removed in this recruitment. However, candidates should verify this condition related to the selection process from the official detailed notification. The prescribed qualifications and examination process for other posts will remain applicable.
Candidates can apply by visiting the official portal at https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/. After online registration, they should fill in personal information, educational details and post preferences, upload the required documents, pay the fee and submit the form.
