CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Rabindranath Tagore University, the second and third days of the three-day ‘Deeksharambh 2025’ program witnessed several important sessions organized successfully for the newly admitted students. The program began with a floral welcome for the students. Thereafter, experts guided students on topics such as the university’s training and placement facilities, anti-ragging laws, career opportunities, and emotional intelligence.
On this occasion, Ashish Sarkar, Regional Talent Acquisition Group Head at Tata Consultancy Services, highlighted the changing requirements of the industry and said that in a competitive environment, students must focus not only on technical skills but also on soft skills. With proper preparation and a continuous learning mindset, students can achieve excellence in their careers.

Motivational speaker Vijay Agrawal enlightened students on the importance of confidence and positive thinking, saying that failures are merely opportunities to learn and move forward. Ms. Sayanti Adhikari, during her session on Emotional Intelligence for Students, explained ways to understand and control emotions. Ashish Sood emphasized the significance of digital learning and skill development.
The university’s Training and Placement Cell also released a newsletter containing information about upcoming internships, job opportunities, and industry requirements. Naish Jameer, Head of the Law Department, briefed students on Anti-Ragging and POSH laws. Chief Librarian Rakesh Khare and his team gave students a tour of the University Library and the National Digital Library of India Club.

On the final day, students were introduced to various co-curricular activities of the university. Dr. Sheetal Gulati shared details about student welfare, while coordinators presented information about NCC, NSS, Radio Yuvaaz, cultural, and sports activities. Students were also informed about hostel, mess, canteen, and transport facilities. Finally, departmental registration, mentor documentation, and face-scan attendance processes were completed, and students were introduced to their respective departments and laboratories.
The program was successfully conducted by Prateek Nigam and his team. This three-day event not only familiarized students with the academic and technical strengths of the university but also proved to be a significant step toward their holistic personality development and career building.
