CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the aegis of India Post, a Rural Postal Employees Conference was successfully organized in Ujjain. A large number of Gramin Dak Sevaks from the region participated in the conference and discussed strengthening postal services and expanding digital outreach.
The objective of the program was to improve the quality of postal services in rural areas, provide information about new technologies, and address the concerns of postal employees. Officials shared details about various schemes operated by the Postal Department, including the Post Office Savings Scheme, Aadhaar-enabled services, Postal Life Insurance, and India Post Payments Bank.

Speakers at the conference stated that Gramin Dak Sevaks are the backbone of the department, playing a crucial role in delivering government schemes and financial services to remote areas. Special emphasis was placed on digital transactions, mobile-based services, and enhancing customer service standards.
Officials also listened to the concerns of the employees and assured them of appropriate resolution. Rural Postal Employees who demonstrated outstanding performance were honored with certificates of appreciation.
