CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal celebrated the 48th Foundation Day of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) by organizing a series of diverse programs for students and the general public.
NCSM is an autonomous, non-profit organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. It operates 26 science centers and museums across the country, including the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, with the objective of popularizing science and technology.
As part of the celebration, a film show based on NCSM’s science popularization activities was screened and viewed by 105 visitors. Additionally, a “Discover the Exhibits” competition was organized, based on the scientific principles behind the center’s gallery displays, in which 29 school students participated.
A selfie point was also set up in the museum’s entrance area, where visitors could take selfies with the NCSM exhibition template in the background. In the evening, two stargazing programs will be conducted using telescopes—one at the center’s campus and the other at the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Boat Club in Bhopal.
On this special occasion, the museum building will be beautifully illuminated tonight to mark the celebration.
