CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sabanani Pays Tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on His Birth Anniversary, Leads Plantation Drive
On the birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Bhagwandas Sabanani, BJP State General Secretary and MLA, paid floral tribute to his portrait at Booth 29 in Ward 29, under the South-West Assembly constituency, on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabanani said,
“Today we honor the sacred soul whose vision transformed the Bharatiya Jana Sangh into what is now the world’s largest political party – the Bharatiya Janata Party. The mantra of unity and the belief that any impossible task can be accomplished collectively was imparted to us by Dr. Mookerjee himself. He sacrificed his life for the cause of an undivided India. I offer my deepest respects at his feet. Long live BJP!”
As part of the “A Tree for Mother” campaign, Sabanani also planted a sapling and encouraged everyone to participate actively in tree plantation during the monsoon season, and to ensure proper care of the planted trees.
