CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: SAI CRC Bhopal’s judo players delivered an outstanding performance at the Senior National Judo Championship 2025, winning an impressive total of 16 medals. The event, held in Delhi, saw the team showcasing exceptional skill and determination, earning 7 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

The players excelled across various weight categories. In the Under-48 kg category, Monica Choudhary secured a gold medal, while Asmita Dey and Antim Yadav claimed silver and bronze, respectively. In the Under-52 kg category, Shraddha K. Chopde won gold, and Ritu secured silver.

In the Under-63 kg category, Himanshi Tokas clinched a gold medal. In the Under-70 kg category, Inugambi took gold, and London 2012 Olympian Garima Choudhary earned bronze. In the Above-78 kg category, Paris 2024 Olympian Tulika Maan delivered a stellar performance to win the gold medal.

The men’s team also showcased exceptional performances in their respective categories. In the Under-60 kg category, Mani Sharma won a bronze medal. In the Under-66 kg category, Garvit secured silver, and Ayush Mawri claimed bronze. In the Under-100 kg category, Vishal won a gold medal, while Rio 2016 Olympian Avtar Singh earned bronze. In the Above-100 kg category, Yash Ghanghas clinched gold, and Hrithik won silver.

Yash Ghanghas and Tulika Maan were honored with the Best Player Awards in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively, for their exceptional performances. The Regional Director of the Sports Authority of India, Central Regional Centre, Bhopal, congratulated all the medal winners for their outstanding achievements in the tournament.
