CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Athletes from the Sports Authority of India’s National Centre of Excellence (SAI NCOE), Bhopal have made the nation proud by winning a total of 6 international medals in athletics and canoe sprint over the past four weeks.

Representing India at the Asian Athletics Championship 2025 held in South Korea, middle-distance runner Pooja showcased her exceptional talent at the senior international level by winning a silver medal in the 1500 meters and a bronze in the 800 meters. Continuing her remarkable form, Pooja represented India at the World Continental Tour 2025 held in Taiwan, where she achieved a clean sweep by winning gold medals in both the 1500m and 800m events, securing a double golden success for India.

In water sports, SAI Bhopal’s emerging stars Harshvardhan Singh and Jaspreet Singh represented India at the Asian Canoe Sprint Junior & U-23 Championship 2025 held in Thailand, winning a bronze medal in the K4-1000 meters (Under-23 Men’s category), adding another achievement to India’s international medal tally.

These achievements are the result of the athletes’ continuous hard work, dedication, expert coaching, and the strong support of the SAI Bhopal center. Abhishek Singh Chauhan (ITC), Regional Director of SAI CRC Bhopal, expressed immense pride and joy, congratulated the athletes, and stated that they have brought great honor to the nation.
