Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s threat to Salman Khan has caused a stir throughout Bollywood. The reason behind this goes back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, in which Salman’s name was prominently involved.

The head and antlers of a blackbuck can fetch anywhere from 1 to 1.5 million INR, while the entire animal can be priced between 1.5 to 2 million INR. Its meat is also in high demand on the black market, sold for thousands of rupees per kilogram.
