CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited film ‘Sikandar’ has been released in cinemas on the occasion of Eid. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is receiving a tremendous response from the audience. It had a strong opening on Day 1, becoming the second-highest opener of the year. Now, reports of the second-day earnings have also surfaced.
According to Sacnilk’s report, ‘Sikandar’ earned ₹30 crore on its first day, and on Monday, March 31 (Eid day), it collected around ₹29 crore. The total box office collection so far stands at ₹59 crore. The film performed well on Eid, and over 8,000 shows were held across India. However, the initial box office numbers have been slightly below expectations.
Starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, ‘Sikandar’ is currently trending everywhere. Theatres are witnessing massive footfall, clearly indicating a high level of excitement among fans. Made on a budget of ₹200 crore, this grand film features Salman and Rashmika in lead roles, along with a powerful ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and Anjini Dhawan.
The film has had a promising start, and now all eyes are on how much it will earn in the coming days.
