CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh has directed that farmers in the division be provided with the required availability of fertilizers. He emphasized resolving pending complaints on Samadhan Online and the CM Helpline within the stipulated time frame. Continuous electricity should be provided for agriculture, and complaints related to transformers should be resolved promptly.
On Tuesday, Commissioner Singh issued these instructions during a review meeting on time-bound letters held in the conference room of the Commissioner’s office. The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Vinod Singh, Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Kiran Gupta, and other relevant officials. Instructions were given to resolve issues noted in time-bound letters and to present progress reports in the upcoming meeting.
Commissioner Singh directed the Agriculture, Cooperation, Markfed, and Food Departments to ensure soybean procurement, crop sowing, seed and fertilizer availability, and continuous monitoring. The Department of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture reported the stock and distribution figures for fertilizers in the Bhopal division for the Rabi season of 2024-25, showing 116,270 in stock, 74,645 distributed, and 41,625 remaining for urea; 29,888 in stock, 22,717 distributed, and 7,171 remaining for DAP; 52,088 in stock, 21,782 distributed, and 30,306 remaining for SSP; 3,093 in stock, 825 distributed, and 2,269 remaining for MOP; and 34,151 in stock, 22,926 distributed, and 11,226 remaining for complex fertilizers. The total stock was 235,489, with 142,893 distributed and 92,596 remaining.
The meeting included directives to the School Education Department to provide district-wise updates on profile updates, bicycle distribution, student enrollments for scholarships, and a review of CM Rise Schools. Speedy completion of registration and distribution for various scholarships was also instructed for the Departments of Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare, Backward Classes, and Minorities Welfare.
The Women and Child Development Department presented information on Anganwadi buildings, with instructions to expedite the construction of ongoing and unstarted Anganwadi facilities. Directives were issued to ensure electricity availability for agriculture, address transformer complaints, and maintain a stock of transformers.
There was a review of the creation of Ayushman cards for citizens over 75 and the status of seasonal diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. The Urban Development Department was instructed to resolve pending items under Amrit 2.0 and Local Fund Audit. Officials were also directed to ensure that water reaches all populated areas and every household through transferred tap water schemes and group tap water schemes under the Public Health Engineering Department and Water Corporation.
Commissioner Singh also reviewed the management of stray cattle under the Animal Husbandry Department and the registration and operation of gaushalas in coordination with the Cow Promotion Board. There was a review of targets and achievements under credit card schemes and beneficiary-centric programs across the Fisheries, Agriculture, Horticulture, and Cooperative Departments.
