This time, Raina has defended businessman Ashneer Grover after a fan criticised his appearance on the show. The fan had said on social media that Ashneer was trying too hard to appear “cool and nonchalant” during the episode. In response, Samay described Ashneer’s performance as excellent.
During his Instagram AMA, Samay said he felt Ashneer performed well in the episode and that every joke he delivered landed effectively. He also praised Ashneer’s chemistry and improvisation with Rakhi Sawant. According to Samay, while Rakhi was playing a quirky character, Ashneer’s straight and calm approach worked well for the scene.
Samay also defended Ashneer’s reaction to the robot. He said Ashneer did not like the robot and gave his genuine reaction. According to Samay, expressing an honest opinion instead of agreeing with everything is a stronger attitude.
