CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In view of the Diwali festival and to ensure the availability of quality sweets and savory snacks for the public, under the direction of Bhopal Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, the Food Safety Administration inspected six factories and shops located in Govindpura, JK Road, Karond, and Shahjahanabad, and collected samples of sweets and savory items.

During the inspection, samples were collected from Jain Food Industries in Govindpura Industrial Area (mawa), Chanchal Sweets on Minal JK Road (mawa and sweets made from mawa), Quality Sweets (mawa sweets), Rohaid Sweets in Shahjahanabad (mawa barfi and besan ladoo), Tilakram Sweets on Ayodhya Bypass (mawa and laung sev), Kuber Dairy in Karond (paneer and curd), and Quality Milk (mawa).

As per the instructions of Designated Officer Devendra Kumar Verma, the samples have been sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory in Bhopal for testing. In case of any irregularities, action will be taken under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
