Bhopal: Sandipani schools started by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav are bringing major change to the lives of rural and middle-class children in Madhya Pradesh. Along with providing quality education through Sandipani schools, special attention is also being given to skill development and linking students with employment. The Government Sandipani School in Sanchi, Raisen district, is spreading awareness about education among children in Sanchi and nearby rural areas. Every facility for the all-round development of students is available here, due to which the school is being identified as an ideal educational institution in the region. The school has achieved notable success in modern technical education and sports.
At Government Sandipani School, Sanchi, 12 buses are being operated for the safe and convenient transport of students, through which children from rural areas also reach the school easily. This facility is completely free. In the academic session 2025-26, 1,067 children were enrolled in the school, and in the academic session 2026-27, the number of students is expected to exceed 1,500. In the academic session 2025-26, 20 students of the school were provided laptops under a government scheme.
Continuous rise in board examination results
While the Class 10 examination result of Government Sandipani School, Sanchi, was 75 percent and the Class 12 result was 65 percent in the academic session 2023-24, in the academic session 2024-25 the Class 10 result rose to 95 percent and the Class 12 result to 85 percent. In the academic session 2025-26, the school recorded a 100 percent result in Class 10 and 87 percent in Class 12. With the continuous improvement in the school’s board examination results, parents are now getting their children admitted to government schools instead of private schools.
Students participating in national-level sports competitions
At Sandipani School, Sanchi, students are consistently performing well in sports, cultural activities and other competitions. School students Ku. Mahi Rajput, Ku. Ritika Khare and Ku. Neha Rajput have participated at the national level in taekwondo. Ku. Mahi Rajput has also participated at the national level in yoga. In addition, student Raj Ahirwar has participated at the national level in handball, Ku. Anushka Ahirwar in the national-level Shotwal competition, and Ankit Mehra has also participated in the national-level Shotwal competition. To provide students with technical and modern education, the school has 19 interactive panels, 25 CCTV cameras, and working labs for IT and electronic hardware to impart skills in ITI and computers.
