Under the joint aegis of the Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell of LNCT University, Bhopal, and the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal, a Sanskrit Week Festival was organized with great enthusiasm.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Shri Shadev Pujari, All India Sampark Pramukh of Sanskrit Bharati, as the Chief Guest, and Bharat Bairagi from Sanskrit Bharati as the Saraswat Guest. Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Narendra Kumar Thapak, Vice-Chancellor of LNCT University; Ajit Kumar Soni, Registrar of LNCT University; and Dr. Ramakant Pandey, Director of the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus.
Pawan Vyas introduced the guests, and a formal welcome address was delivered by the Vice-Chancellor of LNCT University.
In his address, Chief Guest Shadev Pujari spoke on the importance of the Sanskrit language, and discussed how Sanskrit can be made research-oriented alongside other academic disciplines. He elaborated on how Sanskrit serves as a language of knowledge and science, highlighting the presence of scientific concepts in ancient Sanskrit texts.
Special attention was given to Ayurveda students, with discussions on how they can explore and research classical Sanskrit Ayurvedic literature.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Registrar of LNCT University. Also present at the event were Dr. Anju and Narsingh Luu. The program was coordinated by Somnath Sahu and conducted by Pushkar Tiwari.
