CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the all-India organization Sanskriti Bharati, dedicated to folk and fine arts, honored art gurus. The Chief Guest for the event was Honorable Bhagwandas Sabnani, MLA of Bhopal South. The keynote speaker was Girish Joshi, the regional contact chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

The program began with the devotional song of Sanskriti Bharati. The following individuals were honored for their contributions in various art forms: Dr. Rekha Dhiman for visual arts, Bharti Honbal for dance, Kamal Jain for theatrical arts and lighting, Uma Saxena for folk arts, Utkarsha Sathe for music, Dr. Sadhana Balwate for literature, and Dilip Behere for ancient art forms.

The Gurukrupa Music Group performed a beautiful rendition of Guru Vandana, and Deepika Purohit presented a devotional song praising the Guru. The event also included the release of a book written by Rajendra Srivastava.

The program was attended by Aruna Sharma, District President of Sanskriti Bharati; Prakash Galgale, Executive President; and event coordinators Neerav Pradhan, Shekhar, Shiv, Suhas, Priyanka, Neerja, and C.Y.G.V. Vidya Head Himmat. The event was conducted by Mrs. Durga Mishra, District Co-Secretary.
