CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of an educational visit, first- and second-year BBA students of Sant Hirdaram Girls College toured L.M. Bakers Private Limited, one of India’s leading food processing units. L.M. Bakers operates over 189 units across the country and this plant has an annual production capacity of 60 to 70 metric tons. The main objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to production processes, quality control, supply chain management, and organizational operations in the FMCG sector.

During the visit, the students observed the step-by-step large-scale biscuit production process up close. They learned about the quality assurance measures implemented in food production and understood the critical role of the supply chain and distribution system in delivering products to consumers. Additionally, the students gained direct insights into the practical application of management principles in real-world business operations.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani stated that such educational visits are extremely beneficial for students, as they provide experience beyond textbook knowledge and offer a firsthand view of the industry. This exposure contributes to personality development and supports students in building their future careers. The college management congratulated the Commerce Department Management Committee for the successful organization of this program.
