CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with IQAC at Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, Bhopal, successfully conducted a five-day workshop on Canva and Google Drive Essentials for teaching and non-teaching staff.
The workshop began with an interactive session on Canva, led by Professor Manju Devanani on the first and second days. She provided a comprehensive introduction to Canva, explaining each tool in detail and effectively demonstrating its applications.
The third day was dedicated to hands-on practice, where participants applied their newly acquired skills to create business letters, flyers, and greeting cards.
On the fourth day, Professor Megha Masania led a session on Google Drive and its essential tools. She introduced participants to Google Forms, Google Drive, and various lesser-known features that could enhance their workflow and efficiency.
The workshop concluded on the fifth day with a practical session reinforcing all the learnings from previous days, followed by a closing ceremony. Participants appreciated the initiative, with many expressing gratitude for learning Google Forms, which they found particularly useful for creating timer-based assessments. They acknowledged that these tools would significantly improve their productivity.
College Principal Dalima Parwani congratulated the Computer Science Department and IQAC for organizing such an insightful workshop. She encouraged staff to regularly practice these tools and integrate them into their daily tasks for enhanced efficiency.
The workshop was a great success, equipping participants with valuable digital skills to streamline their professional tasks.
