CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sant Hirdaram College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences organized a free health screening camp for senior citizens at the Borvan campus in Sant Hirdaram Nagar, sponsored by the National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. This camp, focused on providing proper care for the elderly through naturopathy, was completely free of cost and saw enthusiastic participation from both men and women.
In this health camp, over 200 people underwent tests for BP, sugar, and other health parameters. Expert doctors provided consultations and recommended essential yoga practices and natural treatments for disease management and a healthier lifestyle. Participants who availed of the tests and consultations were also offered a health-promoting snack.
Principal Ankesh Singh stated that such health camps organized by the college not only serve as a symbol of social service but also provide learning opportunities for MD and BNYS students. He assured that the college would continue to organize similar health camps for women, children, and the elderly to promote drug-free and disease-free living.
Director Hero Gyanchandani congratulated the principal, staff, and students for the success of this large-scale health screening camp.
