CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India E-Press / ITDC News Bhopal: Under the visionary initiative of the Government of India, Viksit Bharat @2047, Sant Hirdaram Girls’ Science College, Bhopal successfully organized a week-long program. The event was based on the theme “Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi” (Development Along with Heritage), aimed at spreading awareness about India’s rich cultural heritage and promoting the importance of physical and mental health.

Aligned with the college’s holistic development approach, the NCC Naval Wing and the Sports Department conducted heritage-inspired wellness activities for the cadets. The key activities included traditional Indian exercises and yoga sessions rooted in India’s ancient wellness traditions. These activities not only helped cadets strengthen physically but also connected them with the country’s time-honored health practices.

Principal Dalima Parwani graced the occasion and, in her address, blessed all participants and appreciated the organizing committee. She emphasized that while the nation progresses, preserving our cultural heritage is equally important. The event was coordinated by CTO and Sports Officer Shanti Sharma, who expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters for making the program a success.
