CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a special tribute program was organized by the NCC Cadet Corps Unit at Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, Bhopal. The program began with a floral tribute to the portraits of the brave sons of Mother India. On this occasion, the college principal, Dalima Parwani, said, “Kargil Vijay Diwas is not just a historic day, but it also conveys a message of patriotism, discipline, and dedication to the youth. Our students are inspired by such programs to nurture the spirit of doing something meaningful for their nation.”
During the program, Assistant Professor Sonia Sharma highlighted the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and educated the students about its historical significance. She stated that this day stands as a symbol of bravery, sacrifice, and national pride in Indian history. The Kargil War not only showcased the unwavering determination of our soldiers but also united the entire nation in a stronger spirit of patriotism.
A special highlight of the event was the screening of a documentary film based on the Kargil War, depicting the indomitable courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The film further strengthened the students’ sense of patriotism and commitment to national service.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire student body and NCC cadets. Various sports activities such as volleyball, handball, kabaddi, badminton, and meditation were also organized. These activities aimed to promote physical and mental empowerment, team spirit, discipline, and self-dedication among the students.
The entire program was coordinated by NCC Cadet Corps Coordinator Shanti Sharma. At the conclusion, students were motivated to remain vigilant and committed to serving the nation.
