CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sant Hirdaram Girls College held its annual awards ceremony in collaboration with Jeev Sewa Sansthan in the holy presence of revered Siddh Bhauji, celebrating the academic and overall achievements of students.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries of the institution, Sant Hirdaram Girls College Director Hiro Gyan Chandani and Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani, talented students, their proud parents, faculty members and students of the institution.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Dalima Parwani. She underlined the college’s commitment to holistic education and shared details of various initiatives and cells being run for the all-round development, skill enhancement and empowerment of students.
She also shared inspiring examples of students who have stepped into entrepreneurship and established their own start-ups. She said the guidance, encouragement and blessings of revered Siddh Bhauji had been important behind these achievements.
The ceremony also gave meritorious students an opportunity to share their journeys of success and express gratitude. The students spoke about their experiences at Sant Hirdaram Girls College and thanked the management, teachers and the entire college family for the continuous support and guidance they had received. Their emotional presentations reflected their journey from student life to academic excellence and became a source of inspiration for other students.
Addressing the gathering, Jeev Sewa Sansthan Secretary Mahesh Dayaramani encouraged students to recognise their inner potential and work towards fulfilling their dreams. Referring to the 27 merit holders, he expressed the aspiration to increase this number further through collective effort and dedication. He emphasised that education is one of the most powerful platforms for guiding a better future.
In his blessings address, revered Siddh Bhauji stressed that gratitude paves the way for dreams and aspirations. He spoke about the importance of self-discipline, effective time management and a healthy lifestyle as essential components of success. Encouraging students to keep their goals clear and remain conscious of the value of time, he urged them to use their student years purposefully. He emphasised that following a timetable can help avoid distractions and prevent unnecessary wastage of time, while reminding them that efforts made today build a better tomorrow.
The programme featured vibrant cultural presentations, including Devi Vandana and a Kumbh Nritya Natika, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebration. The institution then honoured 27 meritorious students with trophies and cash prizes, along with students who brought laurels to the college through achievements in various fields. These honours included 16 class toppers, 17 students for NCC achievements, two students for NSS achievements, five students for sports achievements, and six students for cultural and literary achievements, including achievements at the state, district and national levels. College student Ms. Pragya Gupta was given the Student of the Year award on the basis of excellence in overall achievements.
In addition, as part of its continuing efforts to encourage the education and future of economically needy students, Jeev Sewa Sansthan provided bicycles to 25 students. The initiative was described as a commendable effort of support and encouragement for students. Its purpose was not only to provide practical assistance for daily commuting, but also to promote their health, physical well-being and an active lifestyle. Cycling encourages students to include physical activity in their daily routine and also contributes to a healthy and clean environment. The bicycle distribution initiative also conveyed an important message of economic and environmental responsibility.
The ceremony concluded as a celebration of hard work, perseverance and excellence, with parents sharing pride and happiness as they saw their daughters being honoured for their achievements. Sant Hirdaram Girls College marked the occasion not merely as an awards ceremony, but as a celebration of the collective journey of its students, faculty and management towards excellence, empowerment and a brighter future.
