CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sant Hirdaram Girls College warmly welcomed newly admitted students of the academic session 2026-27 through an inspiring induction programme. The programme began with a floral welcome and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Principal Dr. Dalima Parwani then extended a warm welcome to the students and encouraged them to dream big, adopt a competitive spirit and continue striving for excellence. She said that success requires a combination of dreams, determination and hard work, and that college life is a strong foundation for a bright and meaningful future.
The main attraction of the programme was an inspirational address by life coach, master facilitator, mentor and motivational speaker Dr. Rajiv Agarwal. In his simple, interactive and experience-rich address, he laid special emphasis on the importance of mental health, physical fitness and positive thinking. Describing college life as a golden period, he said the experiences, values and knowledge gained during this time give direction to a person’s entire future. He motivated the students to make full use of every opportunity, develop self-confidence and adopt a positive outlook in life. His thoughts on emotional health, self-confidence and overall personality development particularly influenced the students and inspired them to face challenges with optimism and inner strength.
In the second session on the first day of the programme, Prof. Mimi Abraham conducted engaging management games. Through these activities, students had the opportunity to develop teamwork, leadership ability, effective communication and problem-solving skills, while also connecting with one another and learning life skills.
Held in an inspiring and encouraging atmosphere, the induction programme filled the newly admitted students with confidence, positive energy and enthusiasm to take their academic journey to new heights.
