CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Sant Hirdaram Girls College organized a grand two-day event, the Model United Nations (M.U.N.) and the creative cultural festival Sanketika 7.0, on August 23 and 24, 2025. The inaugural session featured the esteemed presence of renowned journalist and Group Editor of Vistaar News Channel, Brajesh Rajput, as the chief guest.
Principal Dalima Parwani shared that Sanketika marks the college’s seventh annual cultural celebration, providing a platform for students to showcase their talent, creativity, and glimpses of Indian culture. She highlighted that the festival has always symbolized student enthusiasm and innovation, attracting participation from students of prestigious schools with energy and zeal.
Sanketika 7.0 promises a unique blend of competitions and performances. Under “Voice on the Street,” students will present thought-provoking street plays on global issues, while “Hasya Rang” will add elements of humor and entertainment. “Jugalbandi” will feature a mesmerizing blend of rhythm and melody, and “Nach Unlimited” will depict culture and tradition through dance.
Additionally, “The Hidden Saga” will offer students an adventurous experience, “Expression in Colors” will highlight creativity through artistic expression, and the “Greenovation Lab” will showcase innovative models. “Real Realities” and short film-making competitions will bring students’ talents to the forefront, while “Tales and Tadka” and “Ad-On” contests will display innovation and creativity in the world of advertising.
Sanketika 7.0 is more than a cultural festival; it is a celebration of students’ originality, expression, and innovation, connecting them to both global perspectives and Indian tradition. Simultaneously, the college is hosting the M.U.N. for the second time, where students from various academic institutions will develop an understanding of global issues, teamwork, and coordination skills.
