CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of World Health Day, a vibrant and informative program was organized at Sant Hirdaram Girls’ College, Bhopal, under the joint auspices of NCC, NSS, IIC, and the E-Cell. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle among students and faculty and to promote overall well-being.
The highlight of the event was a lecture by Director Vibha Khare, Head of the Department of Food and Nutrition, on the topic “Healthy Diet for Optimal Health.” Director Khare emphasized the crucial role of balanced nutrition in maintaining physical and mental health and shared practical tips for mindful eating habits with the students.
Aligning with the theme of health and awareness, NCC cadet Bhoomika led an invigorating yoga session, followed by a guided meditation practice. These sessions aimed to reduce stress, improve concentration, and enhance inner peace — deeply connected to this year’s World Health Day theme: Healthy Start, Optimistic Future.
