CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : The Sajha Sansar Foundation of the Netherlands has announced that the first-ever “Sajha Sansar International Award–2025” will be conferred upon Santosh Choubey, the Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, Director of Vishwa Rang, and National President of Vanmali Srijanpeeth.
He is being recognized for his outstanding global contributions to the promotion of Hindi language, literature, culture, and arts.
In an online meeting chaired by Dr. Rama Takshak, a prominent diaspora writer and President of the Sajha Sansar Foundation, the entire team unanimously selected Santosh Choubey for the award.
Participants included Vishwas Dubey, Shivangi Shukla, Manish Pandey, and Ashish Kapoor from the Netherlands, Harshita Vajpayee from Switzerland, Vinita Tiwari from the USA, and Rajendra Sharma from India.
Santosh Choubey — a poet, storyteller, novelist, editor, and translator — is globally recognized for his innovative literary projects and cultural initiatives.
In 2019, he founded the international “Vishwa Rang” festival in Bhopal to promote Hindi and Indian culture, which now includes participants from over 50 countries.
Most recently, he organized a grand edition of Vishwa Rang in Mauritius, further expanding the global presence of Hindi.
He was also recently awarded the “Vishwa Hindi Shikhar Samman–2024” in Singapore and the prestigious “Bharat Gaurav Award–2024” in France.
Previously, he received the “Vatayan UK International Shikhar Samman–2023” in London and a “Lifetime Achievement Award–2023” from a prominent institution in the United States.
Among his numerous literary honors are:
Dushyant Kumar Award from Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Parishad for his poetry collection “Kahin Aur Sach Honge Sapne”
Spandan Criticism Award for his critical work “Kala Ki Sangat”
Translation Award from Madhya Pradesh Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti for “Moscow Diary”
Shailesh Matiyani Award and the Valley of Words International Award for his novel “Jaltarang”
He has also been conferred the National Dushyant Alankaran and Shivmangal Singh Suman Alankaran for his overall literary contributions.
