The offering is available free of charge to eligible students and university faculty who successfully verify their academic affiliation.
Students can access SAP Learning Journeys and self-paced learning resources across the SAP portfolio, along with expert-led live sessions. The platform also provides hands-on practice systems for SAP cloud solutions, allowing learners to gain practical experience while developing their technical skills.
The student edition includes two SAP Certification exam attempts, giving eligible learners an opportunity to validate their skills through SAP certification. SAP says the certification programme is evolving toward practical, performance-based assessments that evaluate applied skills in real or simulated SAP environments.
To access the student edition, learners need to create an SAP Universal ID and verify that they are actively enrolled in an educational institution. Verification may require university-related information or supporting documents. The student edition is provided for 12 months, after which eligible students can re-verify their status for another 12-month period.
SAP also provides learning journeys and certification resources to help students prepare systematically for examinations. After successfully completing certification requirements, learners receive a digital badge that can be used to demonstrate their certified skills.
The programme offers students a structured pathway to learn SAP technologies, practise their skills in relevant environments and work toward professional certification while still pursuing their education.
