CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Participated in the Sapre Museum Felicitation Ceremony in Bhopal.

Great scholars like Madhavrao Sapre are born once in centuries. During his lifetime, he nurtured many intellectuals, all of whom are part of the Indian knowledge tradition. This museum, established in memory of Sapre Ji, preserves that very tradition of knowledge.

During the ceremony, more than a dozen talents in the fields of journalism, media education, and public relations were honored.

This was my first visit to the museum; until now, I had only heard about it. Visiting here made me realize that the materials preserved here are incredibly useful for researchers. Universities in the state not yet associated with this institution will be connected to ensure students can benefit from its resources. Efforts will also be made to include the life and contributions of Sapre Ji in the curriculum to acquaint the new generation with his legacy.

India was once the “Vishwaguru,” but centuries ago, conspiracies undermined and dismissed the Indian knowledge tradition. It is unfortunate that even after independence, efforts were not made to restore the glory of this tradition.

However, the New Education Policy (NEP) is making strides to ensure that future generations understand that much of the knowledge claimed as discoveries today was known to India centuries ago.

Madhya Pradesh has taken the lead in implementing the NEP. Efforts are being made to establish this system by 2030. By 2040, it will take full shape, and by 2047, it will be implemented nationwide, paving the way for India to reclaim its position as the “Vishwaguru.”
